Full Moon in Aries - A Fighting Spirit 🥊

The times they are a changin'! Can you feel the shifts in the air? This Libra season has already brought us a plethora of moving energies that have tested our meddle in our connections with others and the relationship we hold to ourselves, while also challenging us in the area of our longterm commitments and how they fit in with the possibilities we see for ourselves in the future. Chances are a lot of us are sitting in this in-between space as either/or scenarios morph and we are doing our best to keep up with the decision process as options are weighed.

Aries energy helps to give us that "fighting spirit" while Libra embodies us with a sense of poise, and like our fiery yet sophisticated lady boxer above, we are blossoming into this self-driven energy that is seeking to allow us to grab the reigns of our life in an artful way. When faced with life's tougher choices Libra can sit in analysis paralysis and that is where Aries' keen instincts can be brought to the table for good use. Sometimes you just have to go with the gut and have the courage to follow a course of action that calls to you in an almost primitive way, and where the good graces of Libra can help refine those passionate and raw internal energies so that they may be communicated to whatever we encounter outside of us.

Venus sits in opposition to Uranus while Mercury sextiles into Saturn, and our FM ruler Mars plays on the Libra team as he is set to make dynamic moves in the days coming. So let's not waste any time and dive right in...

First, let us look at our luminaries - the Sun in Libra and the Moon in Aries - and how they are connecting with 'Lord of the Underworld' Pluto in Capricorn by an exact T-square configuration. This is no light hearted moon by any means, and it is also not one thats contents are solely contained on the day of maximum brightness. There are intense, transformative energies taking place in the real world sphere as our jobs, finances, and overall earthly commitments make twists and turns as new information comes to light. This pivot point of necessary purification has likely brought game changing energy to the scene leading up to this lunation and if something has fallen from your life in the process, it is best to chalk it up to a unnecessary load that you need no longer carry. Situations that are out of our control are likely to rock the boat in all states of existence and how we instinctually respond to the situation will be what makes our breaks us at this time.

The silver lining to any potential cloud is that the Sun and Moon are making harmonious aspects to Jupiter in Sagittarius, and while there may be that tension and frustration in these outer world and relationship scenarios, this is an opportunity to get out from under what is no longer serving you in the first place. Sometimes life just has to change in an abrupt manner so that we can move on to the green pastures that await. Luckily, Mars in Libra and Venus in Scorpio are working in tandem in a sign-based mutual reception which can help support their planetary agendas, yet we must remember that they are both placements of their detriment, which means things likely have to change. The sphere of our relations and overall life balance is attracting in a refreshed feeling based energy that signals where our priorities, values and desires are morphing and it will take our own initiative and updated relationship to the self in order to assert ourselves towards a harmonious new direction. We are all fighters getting into the ring at this time as life pits us against our ability to step up, take a risk, and assert ourselves in our given directions. It takes real courage to be a contender in the ring of life and this may be part of the emotional tension we feel at this time, for Libra energy is not the quickest to confront and go to battle. Yet sometimes in order to find the balance and harmony that we all desire, we have to get in that ring and be willing to fight for what's right... for us.

The issue of justice and just deserves are all over this FM, and you can see it in the world / political sphere at this time. As more and more secrets come out and controversies from behind the veil become that much clearer in the light of day, we are going to battle on many layers of existence. Yet with Aries energy, we all have to be the hero of our own stories and we can't sequester our energy in submission to the powers that be. Real change starts at the core, with each and everyone of us, and it will take the individual action of waking up each morning willing to step into that ring.
